Posted On Wednesday, August 7, 2024

The Ministry of Tourism has announced that nationals from Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates can now avail of the visa-on-arrival facility for tourism, business, conferences, and medical purposes.

This allows visitors from these countries to stay in India for up to 60 days with double entry. However, this facility is limited to six designated airports: Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

E-Visa facility with Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), is presently available to nationals of 167 countries for entry through 30 designated international airports and six major seaports.
