A digital sponsorship and invitation form is now available for individuals, companies, and organizations wishing to sponsor visa applicants to Norway. Sponsors can verify their identity using their Norwegian Electronic ID through ID-porten for individuals or Ansattporten for representatives of companies and organizations. However, representatives acting on behalf of a business must first be granted permission by the business administrator in Altinn to act as a sponsor in visa cases.
The paper version of the sponsorship form will remain available alongside the new digital option.
