Updated Singapore Visa Guidelines for Mumbai Applicants

Posted On Friday, April 11, 2025

All visa application forms must be completed by the applicants in capital letters, without any corrections, and signed exactly as per the passport using the same pen throughout. Each form must be signed in the bottom right-hand corner of every page and once at the end of the application, making a total of four signatures, all done with the same pen.

Photographs submitted must be recent, taken within the last three months, and must not have been used for any previous visas. The photos should be color, taken with a camera, and have a white background with a matte finish. The size must be 35mm x 45mm, with 80% of the face clearly visible.

Authorization form to be signed by the applicant.

If the applicant has previously traveled to Singapore, a copy of the previous Singapore visa must be submitted along with the standard documents.

If the applicant is traveling to Singapore for the first time, the Consulate requires financial documents, such as:

  • Income Tax Acknowledgement copies for the last 3 years
  • Bank statements for the last 6 months
  • Salary slips for the last 3 months

Any two of the above financial documents will be accepted.

This requirement applies even if the applicant has traveled to other countries before but is visiting Singapore for the first time.
