When scheduling your visa appointment, it is essential that you - or your representative - submit a correctly completed DS-160 form (Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application).
A correctly completed DS-160 must include accurate and complete information such as your full name, gender, visa category, date of birth, passport number, and other relevant details.
To attend your appointment at the Visa Application Center (VAC), you must bring the original DS-160 confirmation page that was used to schedule your appointment.
If you submitted a new DS-160 form after booking your appointment, you are required to bring both:
- The original DS-160 confirmation page used to schedule the appointment, and
- The confirmation page of the new, corrected DS-160 form.
Failure to bring both documents may result in you being unable to attend your appointment. In such a case, you must cancel your current appointment and reschedule using the new DS-160 confirmation number. For instructions on how to update your DS-160 number, please click [here].
Important: If your visa fee receipt has expired or has already been used the maximum number of times, you will need to cancel your current appointment, pay a new visa fee, and book a new appointment using your latest DS-160 confirmation number.
