Palau Grants 30-Day Visa-Free Entry to Indian Citizens

Posted On Thursday, June 12, 2025

The Republic of Palau has introduced a 30-day visa-free entry scheme for Indian citizens, marking a significant step forward in bilateral relations and tourism diplomacy.

Indian travellers are looking for new and offbeat destinations. With connectivity options through airlines like United, China Airlines, Qantas, Japan Airlines, Nauru Airlines, and Hong Kong Airlines, Palau is fast becoming one of the most sought-after destinations for Indian tourists.

Currently, there are no direct flights from India to Palau, but convenient connections are available via major Southeast Asian hubs, including Manila, Taipei, and Seoul. The proposed launch of Air India’s direct flights to the Philippines will open a promising new gateway through Manila, one of the primary transit points to Palau.
